Bermuda Swimmers Break Record In Pro Series
Bermuda swimmers have taken to the pool to begin competing in the 2024 TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville.
Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore competed in the women’s 100 long course meter freestyle preliminaries.
Harvey finished 22nd advancing to the C final in a time of 56.06 breaking the national record time of 56.57 set by Madelyn Moore on April 29, 2021.
Moore finished 49th in a time of 58.01.
Harvey then broke her own record, finishing in a tie for 4th place in the C final in a time of 55.90, finishing 20th overall.
Benedict Parfit competed in the men’s 100 long course meter freestyle preliminaries finishing 79th clocking a time of 53.19.
