Ministry On Scheduled Pension Payments
The Ministry of Finance provided the statement below regarding cheduled pension payments.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Finance submitted all necessary pension payment files to the Banks on time and in the required format. Butterfield Bank encountered an internal systems issue but were able to address it and pay their customers early this afternoon. We trust that pensioners were not unduly inconvenienced by this delay.”
