Sancho Smith Breaks 600m School Record
Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University track & field teammates competed at the KMS Invitational at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, with Smith making an excellent showing for his team.
He emerged victorious in the 600m run, shattering his previous school record with a time of 1:22.23, with the university’s report noting that the “time is good for sixth in all Division II this season.” Smith also secured a 4th place finish in the 800m run, clocking in at 1:58.76.
