Smith & Clayton State Finish 3rd In Invitational
Sancho Smith, along with his colleagues from the Clayton State University men’s track & field team, competed in the Emory CrossPlex Invitational in the U.S.
Out of 18 participating schools, the Clayton State men’s team secured the third position with a total of 71 points. The event was won by Emory, accumulating 133.5 points, while Montevallo followed in second place with 78 points.
During the 800m event, Smith delivered a strong performance for Clayton State, achieving a third-place finish in 2:01.17.
Participating in the 4×400 meter relay for Clayton State men’s team, Smith ran the second leg, helping the team to finish third with a time of 3:30.59.
