Road Closure On Watlington Lane North

The Ministry of Public Works issued an advisory about an upcoming road closure on Watlington Lane North in Devonshire, starting on Wednesday [Jan 31].

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that Watlington Lane North in Devonshire between Watlington Lane and Tribe Road No 1 Devonshire will have cliff and wall repair works carried out.

“The road closure will commence on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, and continue until Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, to accommodate cliff repair works.

“Motorists are advised to use an alternative route via Middle Road from the junction of Watlington Lane to enter the property on Tribe Road No.1.

“Ministry of Public Works representatives will manage traffic control, and no access to Watlington Lane North will be granted through this section.

“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
