Swimmers Help Baylor Win Championships
Brandon Adkins, Violet Smith, Connor Hupman and Flynn Watson Brown competed in the Tennessee State Championships helping Baylor School win the overall combined title.
Watson-Brown swam the anchor leg for the Baylor School men’s 200 yard medley relay team that finished 3rd.
Adkins won a bronze medal in the men’s 200 yard freestyle, Smith clocked a personal best time of 2:24.60 during the women’s 200 yard individual medley finishing 43rd.
Watson-Brown finished 7th competing in the men’s 50 yard freestyle A final clocking a personal best time of 21.10, while Hupman finished 21st overall clocking a personal best time of 22.18.
Watson-Brown won the men’s 100 yard freestyle B final with a personal best time of 46.39.
Adkins finished second in the B final of the men’s 500 yard freestyle touching the wall in a personal best time of 4:34.04.
Smith swam the third leg for the Baylor School women’s 200 yard freestyle relay A team that finished second in the B final clocking a time of 1:41.47.
In the men’s 200 yard freestyle relay A final Watson-Brown swam the second leg for the Baylor School A team that earned a silver medal.
Adkins swam the second leg for the Baylor School men’s 400 yard freestyle relay A team that finished second.
