A spokesperson said, “On Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] successfully held its 2nd Annual Small Business Expo in the Somerset Economic Empowerment Zone [EEZ]. This event, central to supporting small business growth in Bermuda, brought together hundreds of new and existing entrepreneurs with industry experts from 11 am to 4 pm. The Expo served as a platform for networking, sharing expertise, and gaining insights.”

The spokesperson said, “Highlighted at the Expo were panel discussions on essential topics like mastering shipping, culinary commerce, payment processing solutions, telecoms, and cybersecurity for small businesses. These discussions, each lasting 30 minutes, aimed to equip attendees with practical knowledge and strategies for business management and growth.

“The Expo showcased diverse businesses and service providers essential for the small business ecosystem.
