Archer Robin Selley Sets Record In Las Vegas

Bermudian archer Robin Selley achieved a personal best and set a national record at the Las Vegas Shoot at the South Point Hotel and Casino at the weekend.
Selley, competing in the recurve young adult female division on Friday and Saturday, finished with a final score of 561/600, a national under-18 female record. She came ninth out of 78 competitors.
Also representing Bermuda in Las Vegas were Jaydon Roberts, Camerin Pickering, Bernard Wade III, and Robert O’Connor in the men’s recurve flights division on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Pickering came thirtieth out of 449 participants with a score of 837/900.
Roberts placed 57th with a score of 826/900, while Wade finished 75th, scoring 816/900. Meanwhile, O’Connor posted a score of 685/900, placing 254th.
The three-day competition is the largest and most prestigious indoor archery competition, with almost 4,000 competitors ranging from beginner to Olympic champions participating.
