Bermuda Lose To Vanuatu By 31 Runs
Bermuda have been eliminated from the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League Play-off after losing to Vanuatu by 31 runs at the Selangor Turf Club, Seri Kembangan, Malaysia, today [March 1].
Vanuatu, who were put into bat, scored 153 all out from 47 overs, with captain Joshua Rasu top scoring with 53 from 95 balls.
Jermal Proctor, Derrick Brangman and Allan Douglas Jr took two wickets each.
In reply, Bermuda were all out for 122 off 24.5 overs, with captain Delray Rawlins hitting 31 off 32 balls, including three fours and two sixes.
Tim Cutler was the pick of the Vanuatu bowlers, claiming four for 35.
Bermuda, who needed to finish in the top four of the six-team group to qualify for the Challenge League, play their final game against Bahrain on Sunday.
