Nikki Bascome To Fight Rashad Kilpatrick

Boxer Nikki Bascome will face American Rashad Kilpatrick in the co-main event at The Shed in Dockyard on March 30.
Kilpatrick, who has lost two of his nine professional contests, defeated Juan de la Cruz Rodriguez [11-22-1], of El Salvador, by unanimous decision in Baltimore in September last year in his previous bout.
For Bascome, it will be his first outing since beating southpaw Alvin Lagumbay, of the Philippines, by unanimous decision at The Shed in May last year.
Bascome [12-1], who meets Kilpatrick, 37, in a six-round fight, will share top billing with Andre Lambe [10-0], who is facing American Kenny Paklos [3-0].
Both contests will be over six rounds in the welterweight division.
Lambe, 28, overcame the toughest test of his pro career when he beat Mexican Sergio García Herrera via a majority decision at The Shed in October last year.
The southpaw retained his American Boxing Organisation regional welterweight title.
