Tennis: Bermuda Compete In ITF Junior Cup
The ITF Junior Davis Cup continued in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with Bermuda taking on the tournament’s number one seed Guatemala, with Bermuda being defeated by a score of 2 – 1.
Bermuda took a 1 – 0 lead when Tristan Pettit battled for 3 hours and 50 minutes on his way to defeating Marco Lopez 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 [3].
After a lengthy rain delay, Guatemala drew level when Zachary McGuire went down 6-1, 6-3 to Ronaldo Cotom.
It would come down to the doubles and Tobiah Goodchild and McGuire took to the court, they were defeated 6-2, 6-2 to Vicenzo Ciani and Cotom.
