Bermuda Gears Up For 37th Convex End-to-End
Bermuda prepares for the 37th Annual Convex End-to-End fundraising event, offering various routes for participants to walk, cycle, or row while raising funds for local charities.
A spokesperson said, “The 37th annual Convex End-to-End fundraising event will take place this Saturday, April 27th. Anyone interested in participating can sign up at bermudaendtoend.bm/register or bermudaendtoend.bm/volunteer if they wish to volunteer.
“Participants are encouraged to raise funds for this year’s selected charities including WindReach, Transformational Living Centre [TLC], Raleigh International, Coalition for the Protection of Children, Action on Alzheimer’s & Dementia, Horticultural Skills Programme and St. John’s Ambulance.
“The top individual fundraisers will win prizes including an overnight stay at Hamilton Princess, round-trip tickets on BermudAir, a Tissot Sports Watch from Astwood Dickinson, a Flow Massage at Exhale Spa, membership to Alchemy Fitness or Vineyard Vines and Gibbons Company gift cards.
“The school with the most participants will win the Top School Prize of $15,000 sponsored by Deloitte with support from Butterfield & Vallis and Bermuda End-to-End.”
Starla Williams, Bermuda End-to-End Event Manager said, “We have a route for everyone, from the full 24.1-mile End-to-End Walk or Cycle, to the 14-mile Middle-to-End Walk or Cycle and the 3 Mile Fun Walk & Cycle which is perfect for families. And for our ambitious cyclists, there’s also the End-to-End-to-End cycle starting in Dockyard and cycling the length of the island twice, 48.2 miles in total! Whether you’re with friends, family or colleagues it’s always a fun day out with lots of energy and excitement provided by our many water stops along the route.

Anne Mello, Bermuda End-to-End Chair, added, “We’ve seen an uptick in schools and local companies participating in teams this year which is always great to see. We also have Rowers from the Bermuda Rowing Association, an all-female team from the Bermuda Pilot Gig Rowers Association and local Opti sailors joining us again this year. All participants, no matter the route, end in Dockyard with the Town Crier, Power Girl and our brilliant volunteers cheering everyone on at the finish line!”
The spokesperson said, “Participants can collect their 2024 Convex End-to-End T-shirt and goodie bag from the event office in the Washington Mall between 8:30am – 5:00pm from Monday, April 22nd – Friday, April 26th.”
Great community event…to all participants PLEASE use the trash cans provided. There is no need to throw your trash in the bushes or drop it along the trails. And to the organisers PLEASE continue to clean up the trails afterwards…your effort to clean up afterwards is very much appreciated!
