Video: Sunday April 21st “Good News” Spotlight
News that the Cross Ministry Team of the IWD and Wellness Committee won the March Public Service Excellence Award, Kenni Thompson scored in AFC Bournemouth Women’s 5-0 win at home to Torquay United Women, and Jasmine Spence scored her fourth goal in three games in Newport Pagnell Town Women’s 2-2 draw away to Thrapston Town Ladies were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Ryan Outerbridge won the Northeast Challenge 5000m, Deanna Trott emerged as the winner of the Abbott Real Madrid promotion, Marcus Scotland and his Cardiff Metropolitan University Cricket Club teammates defeated Clifton College by six wickets, Sweet Life had a bye but had enough points going into the final night of Commercial Bowling League action to be crowned the champions, Jacob Madeiros was selected for the South in the North-South All-Star Classic, and St George’s held a motorcade to celebrate their FA Cup victory.
