Aaron Crichlow Earns KBB’s President’s Award
Aaron Crichlow and Bermuda Is Love have received this year’s President’s Award from Keep Bermuda Beautiful, with KBB noting that “Aaron and this amazing group of young adults have led monthly community clean-ups that have removed tens of thousands of pounds of waste from dozens of locations across the island.”
The KBB newsletter said, “Congratulations to Aaron Crichlow and Bermuda Is Love on receiving this year’s President’s Award from KBB and our Board of Directors! The award is presented annually to an individual or group that has made significant contributions to or through KBB in the previous year.
“Aaron has been volunteering with KBB since his days at Elliot Primary School where he first developed a passion for caring for the environment. Aaron’s leadership qualities and philanthropic drive led him to co-found Bermuda Is Love several years ago. The group focuses on monthly campaigns and activities ranging from basic human rights and food security to education, health and the environment.
“Tackling Bermuda’s problems with littering, illegal dumping and ocean pollution is one of the pillars of Bermuda Is Love. Over recent years, Aaron and this amazing group of young adults have led monthly community clean-ups that have removed tens of thousands of pounds of waste from dozens of locations across the island. They also hold public forums to increase environmental awareness and education.
“KBB is honoured to have a thriving partnership with Bermuda Is love and we are grateful for everyone’s contributions that are leading the way to a cleaner, greener and more beautiful Bermuda for all. We wish this amazing group of volunteers all the best with their ongoing community impact projects.”

Congratulations, Aaron. Your service is invaluable and the recognition is testimony to all that you and Bermuda is Love is bringing to the community. It is well-deserved!
What a big thinking, kind and productive guy. Bermuda needs many more Aaron Crichlows.
Thank you Aaron (and your group) for all your work .
Yes, well done, but can you declare your position on homosexuality please.
Are you really all about love, or is that Bermuda Church Love?
Until you do, nobody should be supporting this group.
“but can you declare your position on homosexuality please”
Why? So he can be vilified by others?
Aaron Crichlow is being recognised for “clean-ups that have removed tens of thousands of pounds of waste from dozens of locations across the island” and nothing should detract from that.
If he solely stood for waste clean ups, then I fully agree.
But his group has much wider ambitions, notably everyone is equal. So if he means everyone is equal except gay people, then yes I am going to pick him up on that, I’m going to pick anyone up on that because it’s outdated and wrong.
