Hospital’s MRI Equipment Has Been Fixed
Bermuda Hospitals Board’s MRI equipment has been repaired and went through its first full day of scanning yesterday [Wednesday].
A spokesperson said, “Urgent patients have been prioritised and expanded hours are being offered to people who had their MRI examinations postponed to ensure they are scanned as soon as possible.
“We thank all our patients for their understanding.”

Congratulations on getting the equipment fixed so quickly. Now, please do not cut corners and make sure the maintenance schedule is followed.
We cannot afford to maintain necessary medical equipment, or even our roads. We are robbing Peter to pay Paul every day. That is what billions of dollars of current account debt (ignoring unfunded pension liability) leads to.
