King Charles III Bermuda Day Message
King Charles III conveyed a Bermuda Day message to the Governor for Premier David Burt and the people of Bermuda.
In a message to the Governor, King Charles III said, “My wife and I have great pleasure in sending our heartfelt congratulations to your Premier, and the people of Bermuda, as you celebrate the special occasion of your National Day.
“I value the ever-growing cooperation between us on important global issues, particularly ocean protection and addressing climate change, which are crucial for future generations and also for people today.
“I was pleased to learn of the work you are undertaking through Bermuda’s Blue Prosperity Plan, which will protect your unique marine ecosystems.
“I was also delighted that the Royal Bermuda Regiment participated in the Coronation celebrations in London last year and I am grateful for their support.
“I extend my warmest thanks for continuing the annual tradition of sending Easter Lilies.
“My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to convey our warmest good wishes for the coming year.”
