Man Hospitalised After Stabbing Incident

A 33-year-old Sandys parish man has been hospitalised after a stabbing incident in Sandys.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:40am Sunday, 12th May 2024, police received a report of a stabbing incident.

“Apparently a 33-year-old Sandys parish man was assaulted by another individual in the parking lot between Legends Bar and Mr. Chicken restaurant, along Somerset Road, Sandys parish.

“The injured man was conscious and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via private car for treatment of multiple stab wounds, which are considered non-life threatening.

“At last check, the 33-year-old was listed in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

“The scene was forensically processed and inquiries continue.
