Middle Road Lane Closure Due To Cable Work
The Ministry of Public Works announced a temporary lane closures on Middle Road near Burnt House Hill from May 1 to May 3, 2024.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be temporary lane closures on Middle Road at the St. Anthony’s church parking lot near Burnt House Hill to accommodate trench work for a damaged underground cable. The lane closure will affect the eastbound lane.
“The trench work will commence on Wednesday, 1st May 2024, until Friday, 3rd May 2024.
“The work shall occur between 9 am and 4 pm on the specified days.
“Traffic control will be managed by BELCO representatives with stop and go sign, temporary traffic lights, and cones.
“Motorists are advised to use caution when entering the St. Anthony’s church parking lot.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
