Oduntan & Cooze Win Library Poetry Contest
Zoe Oduntan and Braxton Cooze won the Youth Library’s Poetry Competition this year.
A spokesperson said, “The Youth Library announced the winners of its 2024 Poetry Competition. There were two age categories; 11-13 and 14-18. This year’s themes were:
“The poems were judged by a group of their peers and the winners are:
Ages: 11-13
- 1st – Zoe Oduntan – Saltus
- 2nd – Lauren Simons — Bermuda Institute
- 3rd – Dani Eve— Bermuda Institute
Ages: 14-18
- 1st – Braxton Cooze – Saltus
- 2nd – Christopher Madeiros – Saltus
- 3rd – Seri Fisher – Warwick Academy
Prizes:
- 1st Kindle Fire HD8
- 2nd Bluetooth Headphones
- 3rd Bluetooth speaker
