Hawley And Smith To Compete At Olympics

Erica Hawley has qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris and will be joined by fellow triathlete Tyler Smith, who has received a tripartite invitation.
Hawley finished the two-year qualification period ranked in 50th position and will be among the 55 female competitors, along with Dame Flora Duffy taking to the start line in the women’s race on July 31.
Although Smith has been selected to compete in Paris by the Tripartite Commission, who award invitational quota places to improve universality.
Sailor Adriana Penruddocke and rower Dara Alizadeh have already qualified for Paris.
