Robin Horsfield Achieves 13th-Place Finish
Robin Horsfield continued his fine start to the mountain bike season by achieving a thirteenth-place finish at the Hardwood Canada Cup p/b Trek.
The Bermudian, competing in the men’s elite cross-country Olympic race, posted a time of 1hr 43min 25sec.
His impressive showing follows on from his career-best third-place finish at the Trek Store Ontario Short Track at Hardwood Hills last Friday.
Horsfield, who competes for Royal City Racing in Ontario, has committed the next two years to chasing his dreams of turning professional.
Ranked as the top rider in the province of Ontario last season, Horsfield is again competing in the seven-race Canada Cup as he builds towards the Pan American Mountain Bike Championships at Soldier Hollow in Wasatch County, Utah, next month.
