Carey Olsen Promotes Michelle Falcucci
Carey Olsen has promoted six lawyers to the partnership across its Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, and Jersey offices, effective July 1, 2024, with Michelle Falcucci being promoted in the Bermuda office.
A spokesperson said, “Carey Olsen is pleased to welcome Michelle Falcucci [Corporate, Bermuda], Richard Sykes [Property, Cayman Islands], Tim Bamford [Litigation, Guernsey], Rachel De La Haye [Corporate, Guernsey], Andrew Tually [Corporate, Guernsey] and Nienke Malan [Corporate, Jersey] to the partnership, with effect from 1 July 2024. The six promotions bring the total number of partners across the Carey Olsen group to 84.”

The spokesperson said, “Michelle joined Carey Olsen in 2019 from the London office of an international law firm. Michelle advises on all aspects of Bermuda corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on insurance regulatory and transactional matters. She also has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and alternative risk financing transactions involving insurers and insurance groups.”
