Dashun Cooper To Host Goalkeeper Camps
Dashun Cooper will host his Summer Training Camps for young goalkeepers at BAA and Bernard Park next month.
Cooper, a full-time academy goalkeeper coach at Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers, has completed his Uefa B Licence and Uefa B Goalkeeper Licence.
The camps will run from July 8 to 12, 15 to 19, 22 to 26, and 29 to 31.
Sessions for under-8 to under-11 players will be from 5 pm to 7 pm at Bernard Park.
Sessions for under-12 to under-15 players will be from 9 am to 11.30 am at BAA.
Youngsters will develop ball mastery, shot-stopping techniques, speed, agility, social skills, and leadership.
Since moving to England in November 2021, Cooper has gained experience as a goalkeeper coach with Premier League side Crystal Palace at their Development Centre in Croydon, London.
The former X-Roads goalkeeper has also worked as head of goalkeeping at non-league Hartley Wintney and the Independent Development Academy in Reading.
The camps cost $250 per week and $200 for Cup Match week.
