St. George’s Cricket Club won by 217 runs: St. George’s Cricket Club 297 Cleveland County 80
This Cup Match, Eastern County Trial match at the Wellington Oval saw the St. Georges Cricket Club defeat Cleveland County by 217 runs.
The St. George’s Cricket Club scored 297, Jarryd Richardson was the top scorer with 58, his runs came off 67 balls he hit 7 fours and 2 sixes, Nzari Paynter added 55 from 66 balls, which included 6 fours and 2 sixes, and Macai Simmons scored 53 odd 54 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes. Keith Whorms was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 8.4-0-31-3.

At the Devonshire Recreation Club, Devonshire Recreation Club won the Central County Cup following a 174-run victory over North Village.
Devonshire Recreation Club scored 264/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Abdul Salam was the top scorer with 91 not out, his runs came off 94 balls, he hit 6 fours and 4 sixes, Derrick Brangman added 63, his runs came off 106 balls, he hit 3 fours and 3 sixes, the pair shared a 114 run 7th wicket partnership. Jonte Smith was the pick of the North Village bowlers returning figures of 10-0-55-4.
