DeSilva-Andrade Defeats World Number 1
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade defeated world number 1 Yee Ting Jeralyn Tan 4-2 and will play her final pool match against Bat-El Brighton-Ha Cohen tomorrow.
A spokesperson said, “Yushae DeSilva-Andrade beat world number 1 player Yee Ting Jeralyn Tan from Singapore today 4-2. Fantastic result for Yushae.
“She will now play final pool match tomorrow against Bat-El Brighton-Ha Cohen [World # 13] from Israel.
“Omar Hayward unfortunately lost his final match against Martin Frkovic [#25] from Croatia 8-2 and will not progress to finals.”
