US College Offers ‘International Thomas Promise’
Thomas College is announcing its International Thomas Promise “that if an eligible student is not able to obtain an offer for Optional Practical Study [OPT] after graduation, Thomas College will pay for their tuition towards a Thomas College in-person MBA degree.”
A spokesperson said, “Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, USA has seen an increase in its international student population over the last few years as the effects of the pandemic have decreased and as the population of Maine high school graduates has dropped. With this increase of international students comes more ways to support them. That’s why Thomas College is announcing its International Thomas Promise.
“The International Thomas Promise is the guarantee that if an eligible student is not able to obtain an offer for Optional Practical Study [OPT] after graduation, Thomas College will pay for their tuition towards a Thomas College in-person MBA degree.
“Eligible students must graduate from Thomas College with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a Department of Homeland Security approved STEM major including:
- Applied Mathematics
- Business Analytics Computer Science
- Computer Information Systems
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Media
- Environmental Science
“Thomas College’s International Thomas Promise gives our growing international student population an opportunity to participate in a program similar to the College’s domestic student Guaranteed Job Program.”
