Aircare Staff Complete First Aid/CPR Training
Aircare Ltd recognized 58 staff members who recently became CPR/First Aid certified through training provided by Worksafe BDA.
A spokesperson said, “The training, held by Worksafe BDA, is offered to staff every two years to meet re-certification requirements. The course is classroom-based and covers a wide range of CPR/First Aid topics including infant, child, and adult CPR and correct use of AEDs.
“The first aid course covers a wide range of topics including initial assessment of life-threatening bleeding, minor wounds, shock, eye injuries, concussion, head, neck or spinal injuries, burns, stroke, seizures, allergic reactions, asthma, diabetes and hypoglycemia, and more.”
Aircare General Manager Brendan Stones said, “Ongoing training is integral to our operations at Aircare, and I would like to offer my congratulations to the team members who have become certified and re-certified in CPR/First Aid. This vital training provides our staff with the necessary skills to assist with life-saving measures on the job and may also be invaluable if they encounter a member of the public, family, or friend in need of CPR or first aid.”
