Bermuda Competes In Billie Jean Cup Opener
Bermuda lost its opening match at the Billie Jean King Cup Americas group three division in Trinidad & Tobago, falling 3 – 0 to Costa Rica.
Shelby Madeiros was first on court, dropping straight sets 6-1, 6-2 to Lucia Gallegos. Nadhira Durham was next on court and fell in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 to Nicole Alfaro.
Zoe Fisher and Airez Gilbert-Simons took to the court for the doubles, losing 6-0, 6-1 to Allison Blanco and Alexandra Cordero.
