Bermudians In UK Advised To Use Caution
The Government of Bermuda’s London Office has advised “Bermudians currently residing in the United Kingdom [UK] to exercise a heightened degree of caution considering the current riots and public disorder.”
A government spokesperson said, “Today, the Government of Bermuda’s London Office has issued following notification, and advises Bermudians currently residing in the United Kingdom [UK] to exercise a heightened degree of caution considering the current riots and public disorder.
“Please consider the following:
- Stay Informed: Monitor reliable news sources to stay updated with the latest news regarding the riots.
- Stay Vigilant: Avoid known riot locations to minimize risks to your personal safety. Do not engage with rioters.
- Stay Safe: Follow the advisories of your local authorities. In the event of immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement authorities without delay.
- Stay Connected: Ensure your emergency contact numbers are readily available. We encourage you to stay connected with fellow Bermudians. Sharing information and regularly checking in with family and friends can be beneficial.
A London Office spokesperson added, “Please be assured that the Government of Bermuda London Office remains ready to support Bermudians in the UK with consular needs. If required, we encourage you to contact us directly via londonoffice@gov.bm.”
They are safer in the UK than Bermuda.
They might well be safer in England than Bermuda, but remember that the PLP Government hates everything British. This was an opportunity to bash Britain that could not be missed.
