Bermuda U15 Girls Beat Cayman Islands
The Bermuda Under-15 girls’ football team won their second successive match at the Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship after beating the Cayman Islands 2-0 in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday [August 6].
Bermuda, who beat Suriname 2-1 in their first group F match, opened the scoring on the half-hour mark through Evans Welsh – her third goal of the tournament – before Miyari Trott doubled the scoring.
They play their third and final group game against the Dominican Republic tomorrow. Only the group winners advance to the next stage.
