Bermuda striker Kole Hall scored his first goal for Chorley in their 1-1 draw away to Scunthorpe United in the Vanarama National League North yesterday [August 24].

Hall netted from close range in the 85th minute to earn his side a share of the spoils after Danny Whitehall had given Scunthorpe the lead in the 44th minute.

“It was very physical from minute one to 90,” Hall told the Chorley website. “We battled it out the whole game.

“The fans were loud from the first minute, and that’s all we can ask for.

“I’m glad I scored and got off the mark. Hopefully, we can build on this momentum on Monday [at home to Southport]. Hopefully, the fans will continue to back us.”

The 25-year-old made 41 appearances for Chester last season, scoring five goals before moving on loan to Scarborough Athletic in March, netting two goals in nine games.

He previously played for non-league teams City of Liverpool, Radcliffe, AFC Telford, Altrincham and Nantwich Town.
