Warwick Academy celebrated the grand opening of the Hunter Pavilion, a new facility completed over the summer.
A spokesperson said, “The ribbon was officially cut by Mr. Scott Hunter, with the pavilion an amalgamation of different needs to improve the student experience, and a symbol of the generosity of the school’s supporters.
“Cleverly located between the upper and lower fields, the Hunter Pavilion enhances the school’s community activities and sports provision, providing a valuable new resource for students and visitors alike.
“The pavilion offers modern amenities, including bathrooms on both levels, changing rooms, water fountains, and storage rooms. A covered viewing porch provides an ideal spot for spectators, while the kitchen and concession area at the one end will allow refreshments to be served during events. It will also be used as an outdoor classroom and for staging major events.
“Designed for students from Reception Year to Sixth Form, as well as the school’s sports clubs, the Hunter Pavilion is a versatile multi-purpose space. A Wall of Donors displayed on the lower level honours the contributors who helped bring this valuable facility to life.”
