Dame Flora Duffy Finishes In Top Ten In Ibiza
Dame Flora Duffy achieved a top-ten finish in the T100 Triathlon Tour in Ibiza, Spain, today [September 28].
Duffy, competing for the first time since the Olympic Games in Paris last month, completed the 100-kilometre distance [2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run] in 3hr 39min 09sec.
She had splits of 26:53, 2:06:22 and 1:04:12. It was Duffy’s first outing at the gruelling distance for two years.
Taylor Knibb, of the United States, won the race in 3:30:03, with Jule Derron, of Switzerland, placing second in 3:31:46, and India Lee, of Britain, coming third in 3:35:17.
Duffy is scheduled to return to action in the T100 Lake Las Vegas on October 19.
