Bermuda Ranked #1 In Condé Nast Traveler

Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of their annual Readers’ Choice Awards, with Bermuda earning the top spot as Best Island in the Caribbean and Atlantic.

A BTA spokesperson said, “Bermuda has done it again! Condé Nast Traveler today announced the results of its prestigious annual Readers’ Choice Awards, with Bermuda taking the #1 spot as Best Island in the Caribbean and Atlantic for the second consecutive year. This coveted recognition spans both the U.S. and U.K. markets, showcasing Bermuda’s undeniable allure as a top-tier destination.

“Over 575,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers from the U.S. and around the globe cast their votes, rating their most memorable travel experiences.     This makes little sense. We can see Bermuda in the top 10, sure. But #1?
    How about showing the air visitor numbers by country? Why is Cuba, with over 1 million international air visitors annually, not on the list?

    Bermuda is #3, and the Bahamas is #1. Can someone from BTA please explain this Bernews story, the RG, and other websites claiming Bermuda to be #1? Please provide a link to Conde Nasty, as I just copied and pasted the ranking from the page.

    Can someone please correct me if I am wrong? I clicked on all the correct links. Was I somehow on the wrong Conde Nasty web pages? Where are our resident fact-checkers?

    I kept digging, and there is ANOTHER LIST where Bermuda is #1, and the link ends in /top-islands-readers-choice-awards-2020 (from 2020!)
