Fisheries Statistics

The owner or operator of every licensed fishing vessel is reminded of the obligation to keep a daily log of catch and effort statistics relating to the operation of that licensed fishing vessel, and to make returns of the catch and effort statistics to the Director of Environment and Natural Resources on the fisheries statistics Form 3 or online at Shellcatch.com [note: new online site]. The deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for the second quarter of 2024 was on 31 July 2024.

Vessel owners and operators are now advised that the deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for the third quarter of 2024 [i.e. 1 July to 30 September 2024] is 31 October 2024. Statistics should be submitted to the Licensing Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources [DENR] located in the Botanical Gardens, Paget; to the DENR Marine Resources Section Office located on Coney Island, St. George’s; or online at Shellcatch.com.
