Ball Hockey: Hamilton & BDA Spirits Win
The Bermuda ball hockey winter league saw two high-scoring matches at the PCC Hockey Rink. Hamilton Princess defeated Appleby 6-3, while BDA Spirits edged Frontier 7-6 in overtime.
John Portelli and Mathew Benson each scored twice for Hamilton Princess. Mathew Katzsch and Richard Campbell also added goals. Chris Merritt, Jordan Gunter, and Adrien Faucher scored for Appleby.
BDA Spirits and Frontier traded the lead throughout their match. Andrew Bonner and Jeff Loper scored two goals apiece for BDA Spirits. Chris Jackson tallied two goals for Frontier. Jean-Michael Tremblay scored the game-winner for BDA Spirits in overtime.
