Man Injured In Stabbing In Somerset
Police are investigating a stabbing incident in Somerset, where a man “sustained neck and facial injuries which were not considered life threatening.”
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 10:00 PM, on Thursday, November 21, 2024 police received a report of a stabbing incident near the Mr. Chicken outlet in Somerset.
“Officers were dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, were informed the victim, a male, had been transported to hospital via private vehicle.
“Emergency Medical Services dispatch subsequently contacted police to report that the injured party was met by ambulance on the way and transferred into their care.
“The victim is said to have sustained neck and facial injuries which were not considered life threatening. At last check, he continued to receive treatment at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
