US Independence Celebration At Globe Museum

The U.S. Consulate General and the Bermuda National Trust will host an event at The Globe Museum in St George’s to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, with members of the public invited to meet U.S. Consul General Antoinette Hurtado and toast the milestone.

Visitors will also be able to learn about Bermuda’s role in the War of Independence from Bermuda National Trust staff. A free glass of prosecco will be offered during the event.

The Globe Museum, located on York Street in St George’s at the north-west corner of King’s Square, will also be open free to visitors from 10.00am to 3.00pm on July 2, July 3, and July 4.
