Rolling Single Lane Closures In Southampton

The Ministry of Public Works advised motorists of rolling single lane closures on Middle Road, Southampton Parish, between Camp Hill and Herons Nest Drive.

A Government spokesperson said, “These closures are necessary to facilitate emergency underground cable repairs by BELCO.

• Duration: Until further notice
• Working Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily

“Traffic management will be overseen by BELCO representatives, employing barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones.

“Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area where possible and utilise alternative routes via South Road to minimise delays.

“The Ministry thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding as these critical repairs are completed.”
