Adrian Roach To Headline At Gleason’s Gym
Bermudian amateur boxer Adrian Roach will headline the main event at the legendary Gleason’s Boxing Gym in Brooklyn, New York, tomorrow [November 23].
Representing Crandall University in Moncton, Canada, the 22-year-old will face eight-times state champion Carmine Gentile, a fighter from NYC Cops and Kids, as part of a New York versus Canada fight card.
Roach enters the bout with an impressive record of 30 wins from 36 contests.
In his previous outing, he showcased his skill and determination by defeating Canadian Taverio Stewart at the Fight Fest event held at Bermuda College in August.
Gleason’s Gym, situated on the Brooklyn waterfront since its relocation from Manhattan in 1987, boasts a storied history in the boxing world.
It has been a training ground for some of the sport’s greatest names, including Muhammad Ali, Jake LaMotta, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Roberto Duran.
