Peter Silvester Helps Connecticut Advance
Bermudian goalkeeper Peter Silvester helped the Connecticut College men’s football team open the NCAA Tournament with a 4-1 first-round win at home to Suffolk University yesterday [November 16].
Matt Scoffone, Elliot Spatz, Marco Perugini and Jorge Mendo scored for Connecticut.
Erik Van Even netted a late consolation goal for Suffolk.
Connecticut advance to the second round of the tournament, facing Franklin and Marshall College at home today.
