A spokesperson said, “As 2024 draws to a close, we at Age Concern Bermuda want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you in our community. This year has been a remarkable journey—filled with challenges, growth, and achievements—and it is your unwavering support, compassion, and dedication that have made it truly special.
“Every step we have taken to improve the lives of older adults in Bermuda has been made possible because of your contributions, kindness, and belief in our mission. Whether you’ve volunteered your time, offered a kind word, partnered with us, or simply shared your encouragement, you have played a crucial role in helping us make a difference. Thank you for standing with us as we work to ensure that older adults in our community can live with dignity, independence, and connection.
“This season is a time for celebration, reflection, and hope—but we know it can also be difficult for many. Let us all extend love and compassion to those who may be facing loss, loneliness, or hardship during this time. Together, let’s ensure that no one feels forgotten, and that the warmth of community shines brightly for all.
“In the spirit of renewal, our head office will close to the public for the holidays from Friday, December 20th, through Monday, January 13th using the first week of January as professional development training for our staff. We look forward to opening back ready to serve with renewed energy and an even deeper commitment to our mission.
“As we look to 2025, let us move forward with hope in our hearts and a shared determination to continue building a community where every older adult feels valued, respected, and empowered. We are excited to partner with you once again as we embark on this new chapter together.
