istatssquash241223The Bermuda Junior National Squash Championships concluded at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire, with ten young champions emerging victorious.

In the Under 11 Boys Division, Benjamin Sherratt dominated the competition, needing just 10 minutes to dispatch Kaiden DeSilva 11-3, 11-2, 11-3 and claim the title.

Ariya Samuels emerged victorious in the Under 11 Girls Division, overcoming Elizabeth Furtado 11-5, 11-2, 13-11 in a hard-fought 33-minute battle.

Mason Smith was a double champion, capturing both the Under 13 and Under 15 Boys Division titles. He displayed impressive resilience in a thrilling 26-minute encounter against Benjamin Sherratt in the Under 13 final, winning 11-8, 11-2, 9-11, 14-12. He then cruised to victory in the Under 15 final, defeating James Bigley 11-4, 11-7, 11-1 in just 13 minutes.

Taylor Kyme reigned supreme in the Under 13 Girls Division, going undefeated in the round robin format. She secured victories over Hyla Hunter 11-9, 11-7, 11-6 and Ariya Samuels 11-3, 11-6, 11-6 to claim the title.

Mckenna Kyme dominated the Under 15 Girls Main Draw Round Robin, with convincing wins over Nila Samuels 11-3, 11-4, 11-2, and Taylor Kyme 11-5, 11-2, 11-1.

Owen Rosorea captured the Under 17 Boys Division title, defeating Jonah Every 11-5, 11-4, 11-5 in 18 minutes.

Olivia Sherratt was in top form in the Under 17 Girls Division, going undefeated to claim the championship. She secured victories over Rose Paulos 11-8, 11-9, 11-7, Somers Stevenson 11-6, 11-6, 11-6, and Mckenna Kyme 11-5, 11-6, 12-10.

Andrew Cox emerged victorious in the Under 19 Boys Division, defeating William Frith 12-10, 11-2, 11-5 in a 17-minute battle.

Gabrielle Turchiaro claimed the Under 19 Girls Division title after a hard-fought 27-minute contest against Tyler Komposch, winning 11-6, 11-9, 5-11, 11-6.
