Bermuda Crowned T20 Qualifier Champions
Bermuda have been crowned champions of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub Regional Qualifier after defeating the Cayman Islands by 13 runs in Buenos Aires, Argentina, today [December 16].
Batting first after winning the toss, Bermuda posted 139 for the loss of six wickets, with Onias Bascome scoring 42, captain Terryn Fray hitting 32 and Dominic Sabir 20.
In reply, Cayman finished on 126 for nine, with Zeko Burgess claiming three wickets for 20 runs off his four overs.
Bermuda, who advance to the next stage of the qualifiers, finish their campaign unbeaten after seven matches.
