Video: Sunday Dec 15th “Good News” Spotlight
News that Krista Dyer was named the International Wushu Federation Athlete of the Month, Bacardi served 250 holiday meals at the Salvation Army, Court House Squash & Wellness and their membership raised $4,500 to help support dementia care services and Sam Bennett was honoured for his contributions to expanding Bermuda’s diving community were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Za’Khari Parsons, Derrick Grant, Cairbre Ingemann, Sheun Simmons, and Maurice Hansey completed training, the Bermuda Boys’ Brigade and Church Girls’ Brigade held their annual Christmas Car Wash and Sale raising $2,000 for The Family Centre, Butterfield earned ‘Bank of the Year’ award and the Bermuda Arts Council celebrated the achievements of 2024 Student Grant recipients Johnae Tucker, Honor Minors, and Vidya Cannonier Watson.
