Christmas tree collection will take place curbside in the west on Saturday, January 18 and in the east on Saturday, January 25.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is advising that Christmas Tree collection will take place curbside in the west on Saturday, 18 January and in the east on Saturday, 25 January 2025.

“The tree collection zones align with the recycling collection zones:

  • West: All areas of Sandys, Southampton, Warwick, and Paget parishes, as well as the following areas of Devonshire: Tee Street and Kent Avenue.
  • East: All areas of St. George’s, Hamilton, Smith’s, Pembroke, and Devonshire parishes, except Tee Street and Kent Avenue.

“Residents are reminded that Christmas trees put out for collection will be composted. Therefore, no decorations, tinsel, or nails should be included, as these items can damage sensitive composting equipment. If using a tree bag, please kindly remove it once your tree is at the curb.
