HBCU Bermuda Network To Host Event
The HBCU Bermuda Network announced its “official launch with an exciting social networking event aimed at bringing together alumni from Historically Black Colleges and Universities [HBCUs].”
A spokesperson said, “This initiative seeks to foster connections, inspire mentorship, and build opportunities for Bermuda’s Black youth to explore higher education and professional growth.

- Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Venue: Henry VIII Restaurant & Bar, 69 South Road, Southampton
“This free event promises an evening of networking, vibrant conversations, and opportunities for collaboration in a welcoming atmosphere. Attendees can look forward to:
- Free Entry
- Cash Bar
- Optional Dinner Buffet [$69 per person, includes a welcome drink]
- Live Music
Mission of the HBCU Bermuda Network
“The organization’s mission is to strengthen relationships within the HBCU community while empowering Bermuda’s Black youth. By creating pathways to mentorship, education, and collaboration, the network aspires to make a meaningful impact on the island.
Purpose of the Launch Event
“The inaugural event serves as a platform for alumni to:
- Register their interest in supporting the network by joining committees or contributing in other meaningful ways.
- Build and expand their professional connections within the HBCU community.
- Engage in thought-provoking discussions that inspire mentorship initiatives and outreach programs.
