Bermudian Pair Score Goals For Binfield
Goals from Bermudian footballers Rahzir Smith-Jones and Reece Jones Jr helped Binfield defeat Hastings United 2-0 away in the Velocity Cup quarter-finals yesterday [January 21].
Jones scored his first goal for the Berkshire side, smashing the ball into the net in the 24th minute.
Smith-Jones doubled Binfield’s lead from the penalty spot just before half-time.
Binfield’s side featured two other Bermudian’s, Coleridge Fubler in goal and Malachi Henry, who came on as a second-half substitute.
Binfield play in the Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One.
