BPS: $5M Of Suspected Drugs Washed Ashore

Police “seized a large quantity of suspected drugs that washed ashore, with a street value of $5 million,” the police confirmed today.

Acting Superintendent Jason Smith, Officer in Charge [Crime Division] said, “On Friday 17th January 2025, police seized a large quantity of suspected drugs that washed ashore, with a street value of five million dollars.

“To date, no arrests have been made in connection with this seizure. A police investigation has commenced and the Bermuda Police Service would like to thank those members of the public for their assistance in alerting us to this suspected contraband.

“We would like to remind you of the importance in working with your police service, to help us interdict illegal drugs coming to our island.”

      The deadliest drugs are legal despite killing many times more than all the illegal ones put together, so that will never happen.
