Video: Emperial Group On Website & Unity
[Updated] The Emperial Group held a press conference today [Jan 27] to launch their new website – emperialgroup.org — and also to discuss matters of unity in the community.
Update 10.01pm: The PLP said, “The announcement of the Emperial Group and their call for unity among the OBA, FDM and Sir John Swan’s ‘Independents,’ lays bare clearly that a vote for anyone that isn’t the PLP is a vote for the One Bermuda Alliance.
“We all know the OBA’s record. We know that they have been suspiciously silent on their plans around immigration. We know that they have been suspiciously silent on their plans to shrink what they too frequently refer to as the “bloated Civil service.”
“We know that the OBA’s Jarion Richardson has refused to come clean about his backroom discussions with the assorted political entities seeking to be on the ballot. The threat is clear; go to bed with the FDM, Emperial Group, or Sir John Swan’s NewBP and wake up with the OBA.”

He had Bermuda’s future firmly in his hands when he took over as Premier. He could have unified us and moved us forward. But that wasn’t his intention. His was revenge politics and he dealt a huge disservice to Bermuda and our people, a decline that continues today.
Think about what you want Bermuda to be… and vote accordingly.
The PLP elite take the approach that once in power, make yourself rich and keep us, the voters poor. If everyone prospered then they would no longer vote PLP as the tired emotional race baiting, messages of fairness, and for the people would no longer have any emotional relevance.
